Optimising Performance: Digital Presence for Tennis Enthusiasts
We designed a united Tennis App for the ATP and WTA tennis associations. We led the UI and UX in close coordination with key stakeholders and developers to craft a distinctive live scores platform for Tennis audiences.

Our strategic initiative entails the development of a collaborative mobile application by the ATP and WTA tennis associations. This endeavour seeks to forge a unified and user-centric platform, elevating fan engagement and live scoring experiences. Our goal is to provide extensive access to tennis content, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable journey for both men's and women's professional tennis enthusiasts. By celebrating the sport and offering real-time updates, we aspire to cultivate a shared global space that embodies tennis's excitement, inclusivity, and community spirit.
results
We implemented a performance-first UI/UX strategy, which yielded significant results for phase one of the project. The focus on optimising performance as a priority led to enhanced speed, responsiveness, and overall efficiency in user interactions whilst keeping the legacy formats in place. Users experience quicker load times, an intuitive, simplistic and streamlined component library, smoother navigation, and a more seamless overall aesthetic, contributing to a positive and high-performing user experience.
Challenge
Users often face fragmented content, limited engagement, complex navigation, lack of personalisation, and inconsistent device experiences. By consolidating content, enhancing engagement features, simplifying navigation, offering personalised recommendations, and ensuring consistent performance across platforms, the app can effectively tackle these challenges and provide users with a seamless and satisfying experience.
