ATP: Live scores, rebuilt for millions
01[ The brief ]

The challenge.

The ATP website is where millions of fans follow live tennis, but the experience was fragmented, slow and hard to scale. And it all had to change while the site stayed live, on legacy systems, with real-time data and sponsors to serve.

[ The goal ]

A best-in-class live experience: faster, clearer, mobile-first, with commercial placements that feel part of the product, not bolted on.

02[ What we did ]

Four moves to sell-out.

[ Step 01 / 04 ]
01UX constraints

Worked inside live production, shaping every UX decision around legacy architecture and real-time data.

02The Design System

A modular, tokenised component library with light and dark modes, keeping every team consistent.

03Built for Live data

Live scores reframed as a rich, interactive product, with match state, stats and context in one clear hierarchy.

04Streamlined delivery

Close partnership with engineering through build and QA, shipped across two phases.

Commercial needs are part of the product. Integrating them well, not compromising on them, is what makes it sustainable.
